Sears Puch 1965

The official name of this model was Puch 250 SGS (Schwing-Gabel-Sport). The motorcycle was manufactured by Steyr Daimler Puch AG in Thondorf near Graz, Austria, and sold primarily in US via the Sears catalog. The motorcycle was powered by 248cc split-single two-stroke engine (two pistons sharing a single combustion chamber). Power output 16.5 HP, top speed: 110kph. It was common choice for young riders. A total of 38,584 Puch 250 SGS motorcycles were produced between its launch on October 1, 1953 and the ending of manufacture in 1970.
