Kazimierz Lipiński founded "Ormonde" in 1890, and from 1905 he was an importer of bicycles and bicycle parts, as well as French and British motorcycles and cars. Lipiński was provider of Russian tsar's army, which greatly improved demand for his bicycles. His shop, "Maison Ormonde" was located at Krakowskie Przedmieście, next to Staszic palace, and then at Jasna street. In 1905 Lipiński started to produce his own bicycles. When his shop was destroyed by bombs in 1939 he moved to another address at Jasna street, and next to Piaseczno near Warsaw. His company existed until 1959, when it was taken from the owner by communist goverment.
