NSU 501 TS

NSU 501 TS, one of biggest and most luxurious NSU models from 30s. Side valve engine 494cc, power output 12.5 HP. It was produced from 1930 to 1936.

The vehicle's frame number has been checked in NSU archives operated by NSU Gmbh, subsidiary company of AUDI AG. The frame number indicates that this NSU bike is a 501 TS type built on the 3d July, 1930. The vehicle still has got its original engine (number 132099). It was first delivered to Mr. Karl Hartkorn in Wangen (Bavaria). The whole bike was painted black without any trim lines. When leaving the factory, it was equipped with Amal carburettor and Bosch lighting, horn, battery and magneto (all information by courtesy of NSU Gmbh).
