DKW E200, manufactured from 1928 to 1929. Displacement: 199,5 cc. Power: 4 HP. Weight: 75 kg. Top speed: 70 km per hour. An important milestone in the Zschopau factory's production, successor to early E206 model. E206 and E200 were first German motorcycles built in a conveyor belt system. The E200 had an ingeniously simple 2 speed gearbox, with the crankshaft serving as the transmission shaft. It resulted in a lightweight, compact and inexpensive unit.
