Austro Motorette 1921

Austro Motorette auxiliary engine. This 82cc two stroke engine was produced from 1921 by Steirische Fahrzeugwerke A.G., based in Puntigam near Graz, Austria. It was one-horsepower engine with no contact points or spark plug, but a low tension magneto ignition with a contact breaker inside the cylinder head.

[img]In 1924 Steirische Fahrzeugwerke changed to manufacturing light motorbikes with two-stroke 144cc engine, and from 1927, as Grazer Motorenwerke, the company started production of Titan motorcycles and continued to 1933.
